1. Scope

These Terms and Conditions apply to all orders placed through the online shop of:

By placing an order, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. We sell to consumers only (B2C). A consumer is any natural person who enters into a transaction for purposes that are predominantly outside their trade, business or profession.

2. Contract conclusion

By placing an order in our shop, you are making a binding offer to purchase the selected products. After submitting your order, you will receive an automated order confirmation by email. This confirmation does not yet constitute acceptance of your offer.

A binding purchase contract is formed when we send you a separate shipping confirmation or dispatch the goods.

We reserve the right to decline orders, for example in the event of pricing errors or unavailability of products.

3. Prices & payment

All prices are shown in euros (€) and are exclusive of VAT in accordance with § 19 of the German VAT Act (Kleinunternehmerregelung). Shipping costs are shown separately and added at checkout.

We accept the following payment methods:

  • Credit card (via Stripe)

  • PayPal

  • Apple Pay

  • Google Pay

Payment is due immediately upon placing your order. We reserve the right to withhold dispatch until payment has been received in full.

4. Shipping & delivery

We currently ship to Germany, all EU member states, and Switzerland.

Shipping costs:

  • Germany: €3.50 per order

  • EU: €9.00 per order

  • Switzerland: €14.00 per order

Free shipping on orders over €20.

All shipping rates apply per order, regardless of the number of items.

Estimated delivery times:

  • Germany: 3–5 business days

  • EU: 7–14 business days

  • Switzerland: 7–14 business days

Delivery times are estimates only and may vary. We are not responsible for delays caused by postal services or customs processing.

Calendars are shipped as tracked parcels. Postcards and A4 prints are usually shipped as standard letter post within Germany.

Please note that shipments to Switzerland may be subject to customs duties and import taxes, which are the responsibility of the recipient.

For pre-order items, the estimated shipping date is stated on the product page. Full payment is due at the time of ordering. We will notify you if delivery dates change.

5. Right of withdrawal - physical products

You have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of receiving your order without giving any reason.

After exercising your right of withdrawal, you must return the goods to us without undue delay and no later than 14 days after notifying us of your withdrawal. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer. We recommend using a tracked shipping method, as we cannot be responsible for goods lost in return transit.

You may handle and inspect the goods only to the extent necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning. If you handle the goods beyond what is necessary for such inspection and this results in a loss of value, you may be liable for that diminished value.

Once we receive your return, we will refund the payments received from you, including the cost of the standard delivery option originally chosen by you, without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the day on which we are informed of your withdrawal. We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the returned goods or you have provided evidence that you have sent them back, whichever is earlier.

Exceptions:

6. Right of withdrawal - digital products

For digital content that is not supplied on a tangible medium, such as downloadable digital products, you expressly consent to the performance of the contract beginning before the expiry of the 14-day withdrawal period.

Before the download or delivery begins, you acknowledge that you will lose your right of withdrawal once the performance of the contract has begun, provided that the statutory requirements for this waiver have been fulfilled. Digital products cannot be returned or refunded after the right of withdrawal has expired in accordance with the above.

7. Legal Guarantee of Conformity

We are legally required to provide goods that conform to the contract and are free from defects.

If a product is defective or does not conform to the contract, you have the statutory rights provided under applicable consumer law. These rights may include, depending on the circumstances, repair, replacement, a reduction of the purchase price or withdrawal from the contract.

The statutory legal guarantee of conformity for goods generally applies for two years from the date of delivery. The statutory legal guarantee is not affected by any voluntary commercial guarantee that may be offered separately.

To report a defect or request a remedy, please contact us at paula.collectionofstories@gmail.com and provide your order number and, where possible, a description or photo of the issue.

8. Liability

As a small private seller, our liability is limited to cases of intent and gross negligence. We are not liable for minor negligence, loss of profit, indirect damages, or damages arising from incorrect use of our products.

We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by circumstances beyond our control (e.g. postal disruptions, natural events, or force majeure).

9. Intellectual property

All content on our website and products, including texts, designs, illustrations, and photographs, is the intellectual property of Paula Blietschau — Collection of Stories and is protected by copyright.

Digital products purchased from our shop are for personal use only. Redistribution, resale, or commercial use of any digital content is strictly prohibited.

10. Data protection

We process your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which can be found on our website. By placing an order, you acknowledge that you have read and understood our Privacy Policy.

11. Consumer Dispute Resolution

The European Commission previously provided an online dispute resolution (ODR) platform for consumers and traders. This platform was discontinued on 20 July 2025.

We are not obliged to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board and do not voluntarily participate in such proceedings.

12. Applicable law & jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions and all contracts concluded through our shop are governed exclusively by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG).

For consumers within the EU, mandatory consumer protection provisions of your country of residence remain unaffected.

The place of jurisdiction is Berlin, Germany, to the extent permitted by law.

13. Changes to these Terms & Conditions

We reserve the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. The version applicable to your order is the one published on our website at the time of purchase.

14. Legal Guarantee of Conformity

All products sold by Collection of Stories are covered by the statutory legal guarantee of conformity applicable under EU consumer law.

Consumers are entitled to the statutory remedies provided by applicable law if goods do not conform to the contract.
